Composite Materials Manufacturing Processes
COMPOSITE MATERIALS MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
26 hours · 13 sessions · taught in English
You already know what a composite material is. Fibres, matrices, interfaces, Vf — that part's done.
This course asks the question nobody quizzes you on, but every employer eventually will: How is the part actually made? And why that way, and not another?
We won't hand you a catalogue of processes to memorise. We'll build one — together.
→ Session 1-2 opens with six real composite parts and zero answers. Your job: guess how each was made, then help build the classification map that will organise everything that follows.
→ Session 3 hands you the physics every single process shares — impregnation, consolidation, curing — as one reusable reading grid.
→ From Session 4, each group becomes the class expert on one or two manufacturing processes: you'll research it, write its official process sheet, and teach it to everyone else.
→ By Session 13, you'll defend a process choice for a real case, backed by the library the whole class built.
Assessment: 25% hands-on process sheet · 25% continuous engagement · 50% final exam — reasoning-based, never rote memorisation.
Your English doesn't need to be perfect. A bilingual glossary and sentence starters are provided from day one — you're graded on engineering reasoning, not accent.
Bring curiosity. Nothing else. See you in Session 3.
